I ran into a situation after work one day the other week in which I needed to use both hands and a light source at the same time. Well with a flashlight on my belt, I had the light source but it required me to hold it with one hand and I needed two hands for the task. With a little redneck ingenuity, I managed to get the task completed.
But I realized afterwards that if I had a headlamp, it would have been ten times easier. Now I have a few headlamps at home, but that was 100 miles from where I was at the time. So I was off to the internet to look for one that, unlike my battery operated ones, was rechargeable. And wouldn’t you know, I came across an Amazon listing for 2 headlamps at the cheap price of $15.29, I couldn’t pass it up…

My Thoughts
Upon opening the box, there were 2 headlamps, 2 charging cables, and the instructions. Right out of the box, both my headlamps were at least partially charged and I was able to turn them on to test them out. For as light as they are, I wasn’t really expecting them to be as bright as they are. I honestly only bought them because it was 2 for the price on one and to keep one in my vehicle for occasional use.

After testing it out, I am planning on using the 2nd one when I go camping. I am looking forward to giving this headlamp a good field test this coming year when I go camping. It is light enough that when I was wearing it around the house I could easily forget it was on my head. Overall, out of the box, it’s looking promising, but I will let you know what I think after I have had the chance to really use it out in the real world for a while.
